What is Airborne Disinfection?

Disinfection by dry fogging or Nebulisation is a technique for disinfecting surfaces by air (DSVA: Surface Disinfection by Air). This disinfection technique is done automatically without human intervention. For example: our devices are equipped with a manual or digital timer and it is sufficient to set the diffusion time and then start the program and the device will diffuse and stop automatically.

It consists of projecting a disinfectant product in very fine droplets (less than 7 microns) into the atmosphere, using one of our disinfection sprayers such as JETBIO 2020, which propels the disinfectant thanks to an air turbine "VORTEX with CISEALS" with an output speed of 280 km/h and a propulsion distance of 15 metres.

Our Disinfection Foggers comply with the French AFNOR NF T72-281 standard.

A French AFNOR standard allows the microbiological efficiency of a process to be tested by
simulating real conditions of use.

Il This is the AFNOR NF T72-281 standard for the
determination of the bactericidal, fungicidal or yeasticidal and sporicidal activities of DSVA processes.


It serves as a reference for the DSVA. Published in September 1986 by the AFNOR commission of
standardisation "Antiseptics and disinfectants".

It is the reference test method for manufacturers who claim
disinfecting activities of their processes on the national market.

Nevertheless, tests carried out according to a standard different from NF T72-281 can be evaluated
by theAfssaps if it is demonstrated that they are equivalent in terms of :

validation of the test and;

(Bactericide, Yeasticide, Fungicide, Sporicide and or Virucide)
