Disinfection Foggers

What is aerial disinfection?

La disinfection by fogging is a technique for disinfecting surfaces by air (DSVA: Surface Disinfection by Air). This disinfection technique is carried out automatically without human intervention. For example: our devices are equipped with a manual or digital timer. Simply set the diffusion time, then start the programme and the device will diffuse and stop automatically.

This involves spraying a disinfectant in very fine droplets (less than 7 microns) into the atmosphere, using one of our disinfectant foggers such as  JETBIO 2020, which propels the disinfectant through an air turbine "VORTEX à CISEAUX" with an exit speed of 280 km/h and a propulsion distance of 15 metres.

Our Disinfection Foggers comply with the French AFNOR NF T72-281 standard.

A French AFNOR standard enables the microbiological effectiveness of a process to be tested by
simulating real conditions of use.

Il This is the AFNOR NF T72-281 standard relating to
determination of the bactericidal, fungicidal or yeasticidal and sporicidal activities of DSVA processes.

It serves as a reference for the DSVA. Published in September 1986 by the AFNOR de
Antiseptics and disinfectants" standardisation.

A new version was published in 2009 and was the subject of a European working group in 2011 with a view to publishing a standard European CEN.

It is the reference test method for manufacturers who claim
of the disinfectant activities of their processes on the national market.

It applies to the following sectors hospital, medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic, agricultural, industrial and agri-food sectors.
Carrying out this standardised trial enables a comparative assessment with other trials.
processes on the market. What's more, this standardised test makes it possible to assess the activity of the product with a high level of control.
many factors, such as the quantity of microorganisms (inoculum) used as a starting point, the strains of
reference micro-organisms, the level of performance...

There is currently no equivalent standardised benchmark at European level.

However, tests carried out in accordance with a standard other than NF T72-281 may be assessed.
