History of the French-made CLIM 3000.

IBL CONCEPT created in 2014, at the request of professionals in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning sector, to manufacture in France a special Air Conditioning Steam High Pressure Cleaner for their sector.

The Clim3000 was born after the manufacture and validation of several prototypes with improvements requested by our professional testers in terms of reliability, ease of dismantling, maintenance and repair.

Specific accessories were also created during this validation process.

We've made sure that the CLIM 3000 produces saturated dry steam at 7/8 bar pressure and high temperature (175/180°C) so that you can easily clean, descale and decontaminate different types of air conditioner.

This Air Conditioning Steam Cleaner also has 3 different cleaning modes: steam only / steam plus superheated water / water only.

The Clim3000 Professional Air Conditioning Steam Cleaner accessory kit has been designed to make cleaning quick and easy, and to treat specific surfaces (fins, turbines, condensers, units, fans, coolers .....) with maximum efficiency.

What are the advantages of using steam to clean air conditioners?

Cleaning and disinfecting air conditioners using pressurised steam at very high temperatures cleans and removes dirt from all the surfaces in the air conditioning system without damaging them, saving water and treating the most inaccessible areas.

Pressurised steam provides mechanical action, moistening and loosening dirt without scratching the surfaces to be cleaned or bending the often very fragile fins.

Clim3000 is risk-free for electrical and electronic components: the pressurised steam ejects dirt without soaking electrical parts.

Health Risks - COVID 19 - ASPERGILUS NIGER - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Following the COVID crisis, theARS SANTÉ FRANCE , l'NPPO and theASHRAE have published important information about the risks that technicians may face when cleaning air conditioning and/or ventilation systems.

It has now been proven and recognised by public health authorities that the Covid virus is present in air conditioning and ventilation systems.

It is also recognised that the high presence of "Aspergilus Niger fungi" can be dangerous for operators' respiratory tracts.
Operators MUST wear at least an FFP2 or FFP3 mask, goggles and gloves when working on air conditioning or ventilation systems.

What are the procedures to be followed with the Air conditioning steam cleaner?

Here are our Basic Principles and our Protocol for using the CLIM 3000 concept:

Advice : *The fewer parts we dismantle, the better off we'll be afterwards!

Warning: *Always work on a de-energised device.

1/ Dismantle the hull and filters (spray the filters with water before dismantling to block the dust and therefore the COVID virus).
2/ Vacuum fine dust with a hoover (filter) Vacuum cleaner fitted with a HEPA filter (COVID19 required) Vacuum cleaner reference: AERO26
3/ Spray our diluted CLEAND+ degreaser-stripper (dilute depending on how dirty the evaporators and turbines are) all over .... From top to bottom.
Prepare 3 dilutions of CLEAN D + in sprayers in advance: 5% / 10% and 20%
4/ leave for 3/5 minutes
5/ use CLIM 3000 (position 3 on the handle: steam + superheated water) from top to bottom to strip and remove dirt.
6/ Use the CLIM 3000 Air Conditioning Steam Cleaner in (position 2) on the handle to rinse (water only).

7/ You can "blow" with steam only CLIM 3000 (position 1) on the handle to lower the few remaining residues of water condensation, then you can Vacuum to remove these residues of water in the condenser and condensate tray.
8 / for STANDARD DISINFECTION: spray with our approved biocide disinfectant DESOGERME (PURE - NON-DILUTED) by wetting all parts.
9/ Refit the hull and filters (cleaned beforehand)
10/ Restart the air conditioning by placing a cotton cloth in front of the turbine to catch any last drops that may remain in the turbine.
11/ DO YOUR BLOW AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL TESTS (using an anemometer)
12/ affix your SELF-ADHESIVE sticker stating: (Cleaned and Disinfected in accordance with current European Biocidal Standards on : DATE by : YOUR COMPANY)

(Cleaned and Decontaminated on: DATE by: YOUR COMPANY)

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU CHARGE FOR A "DISINFECTION" OPERATION, YOU WILL BE LIABLE TO THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES: AN OBLIGATION TO ACHIEVE RESULTS.

This is why we recommend that our customers invoice the disinfection operation separately, with this heading: "DISINFECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BIOCID STANDARDS IN FORCE".

1/NON-INSTITUTIONAL CUSTOMERS: Submit a file containing the technical data sheet for the disinfectant product and a Certificate of Cleaning and Disinfection in compliance with Biocides Standards in force - 2022.
2/FOR INSTITUTIONAL CUSTOMERS (TOWN HALLS - SCHOOLS - CRÈCHES - FIRE BRIGADES - POST OFFICES - DOCTORS' SURGERIES - VETERINARY SURGERIES - DENTAL SURGERIES)

Provide a complete dossier (because disinfection requires results to be achieved, which means that the health authorities may carry out checks).
(The SDS (safety data sheet) for the product with its European approval number + its MA number + its batch number (usually found on the label on the can) and a Certificate of Cleaning and Disinfection Services in compliance with the Biocides Standards In Force - 2022.
